Leanne Kitchen is a food and travel writer and photographer who has morphed from professional chef to, variously, food stylist, food editor, cooking demonstrator, recipe developer, travel and food photographer and cookbook author. Her articles, food styling, recipes and photographs have appeared in publications such as Vogue Entertaining + Travel, Australian Gourmet Traveller, Qantas magazine, Taste, Kia Ora, Travel+Leisure Australia, Belle, Australian Home Beautiful, Masterchef magazine and SBS Feast magazine. She has been a reviewer for the prestigious Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide and a regular contributor to www.sbs.com.au/food. A published author, her books include The Produce Bible, The Butcher, The Baker and Turkey, Recipes And Tales from The Road (all by Murdoch Books). The Real Food of China and East, Culinary Adventures in South East Asia (Hardie Grant), were co-authored with Antony Suvalko; her photography features in both. The pair also developed a series of travel apps and web content for Air New Zealand. Her snappy, informative and, at times, quirky writing style has most recently been put to effective use in Shanghai In 12 Dishes and Ho Chi MInh City in 12 Dishes, both travel guides for Red Pork Press (www.redporkpress.com). And in Murdoch Book's This Is Not A Wine Guide. Her latest photography projects include shooting for the Langham, Sydney, and the In 12 Dishes travel guides.
